About Me

Hi, I’m Nix. Previously a hairstylist, I became a full-time parent and in 2017.When my curious kids started showing interest in aquatic animals, we decided to jump into the freshwater aquarium hobby head first! I used to keep an aquarium when I was younger so I was excited too!! I got a job at my local fish store so that I could soak up as much information as I could. I love sharing my fascination and the knowledge that I’ve learned along the way. Of course, this is all stuff that we have learned though our journey and experiences, it’s certainly not the only way things can be done. Remember, we don’t know what we know, until we know what we know.
